Meet Dr. Margaryta Goncharenko (Dr. Margo)
Before introducing Toronto to the many benefits of acupuncture, Dr. Goncharenko, known as “Dr. Margo” to her clients and associates, was a medical doctor in Ukraine. After graduating from Zaporozhye State Medical University, she opened a family practice over 30 years ago, which operated for six years. Dr. Margo then decided to study cardiology and radiology in Kyiv where she worked until going to a Medical University in Asia to study acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.
She has since been combining the best aspects of Eastern and Western medical philosophies to help her patients live better lives. Dr. Margo is officially recognized by the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and regularly updates her credentials by attending courses and seminars held by the organization. Dr. Margo has been on the cutting edge of medical science since she began the profession and works tirelessly to stay on top of developing advances in acupuncture therapy and medical science. All of her treatment plans are individualized and include dietary and lifestyle recommendations to help each client reach their personal goals.
